El próximo 27 de febrero, un día antes de los Premios Oscar, las miradas estarán atentas a lo mejor del cine independiente, cuando este circuito celebre los Independent Spirit Awards, donde se destacan las producciones más notables hechas con poco presupuesto. 

A pesar que en las recientes ceremonias ganaron películas que con el tiempo se volvieron más comerciales, como el caso de Birdman, esta es una oportunidad para revalorar lo que el cine independiente nos ofrece año tras año.

Esta será la 31ª edición de los Independent Spirit Awards que contará con Kate McKinnon y Kumail Nanjiani como los anfitriones.
